Catholic Schools Week Fun

Our family night is sure to be a good time! Tomorrow night from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. you are invited to come to visit each of our classrooms with your family. We’ll play a fun game. Your game answer sheet will be traded to your oldest child’s teacher for an apple to be placed on our “FAMILY TREE” which will be on display for everyone to see. Completed answer forms will also be entered into a drawing for a $50.00 gift card to Applebee’s Restaurant, a four-pack of movie tickets, and a certificate for the children to be out of uniform on the following Monday.

Drama Club

Calling all Stagehands, Set design and Advertizing specialists! A notice went home today with children in grades 4-8. Space is limited and children will be chosen on a first come first serve basis. Don’t delay! Print out your permission slip and send it in.

Feb. 6th: Half Day

Monday, February 6th will be an early release day. Students will be dismissed at 11:00 so that the faculty can participate in meaningful professional development. There will be an After School Program. Please watch for more ASP information to come from Mrs. Walczak if you are interested in registering for the ASP on that day.

7th and 8th Grade Service

Our 7th and 8th grades have been collecting food this week for the food pantry. If anyone would like to add to their collection, you are welcomed to bring canned food items to the Jr. High on family night. Thank you in advance for considering this a worthy cause.

Open House

Our school’s open house is tomorrow from 10:00 – 12:00. If you know of a family who is interested in finding out more about Our Lady of the Angels School, please encourage them to stop by for a tour!

Kindergarten Screening Reminder

Our current Kindergarten students will not have school on Friday, February 10th and again on Friday, February 17th as we will be screening applicants for the fall of 2012. Please be sure to arrange for child care on these days.

If you, or someone you know, has a child who will be 5 years old by August 31st and is interested in the possibility of attending our Kindergarten, please be sure to call Ms. Montiverdi at 508-752-5609 to set up a screening appointment.
