| Class Service Project |
 |
What a great field trip on Saturday, May 8 to Petco and the Worcester
Animal Rescue League. The children raised $387.77 to purchase needed
items for these beautiful creatures of God. Petco gave us a 10%
discount off of all the items we purchased. When we got to WARL, they
were thrilled with everything we brought over to them. The children
were bursting with happiness over their Service Project. The children
showed great pride in this project and could not wait to add their
hard earned money to our jar for these beautiful animals. I am so
proud of my First Grade Children. Well Done First Graders!!!!!!!)

May the road rise up to meet you
And may the wind always be at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your fields
And until we meet again
May God hold you in the small of his hand! |

Always remember to forget the things that made you sad, But never forget to remember the things that made you glad. Always remember to forget the friends that proved untrue, but don't forget to remember those that have stuck by you. |

Please
help your child study their High Frequency Words

words. I recommend that you put them on index cards
and use this as a special time. I will add to these
words every week. Thank you! |

From Many Ways to Say I Love You by Mister Rogers
No matter what the situation, if we can help children talk about their concerns and their feelings, and really listen to what they tell us, we are letting them know we care deeply about them.

Special
quote from Isaiah 64:8
O Lord, you
are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we
are all the work of your hand.
